Wild Current is what happens when movement gets to lead.
Vivid pink cuts across deep greens, blues, black, and a heavily textured sweep of burnt orange, creating a painting that refuses to sit still. The marks overlap, interrupt one another, and change direction—each one responding to what came before rather than following a predetermined path.
I created this piece by leaning into that momentum, allowing bold color and instinctive marks to take over instead of trying to control where the painting was going.
There’s something freeing about that kind of unpredictability. Wild Current is a reminder that sometimes the most interesting things happen when you stop trying to steer every turn.
